Personal Description:

I am currently a university student who hopes to use my knowledge and experience to educate students as a biology tutor. I have previous experience tutoring college students in chemistry and biology, and it would be my honor to help supplement your schoolwork with an individualized lesson plan and help you succeed.

Tutoring Experience:

I have always made myself available as a tutor to my peers, but my formal tutoring experience began during my freshman year of college when I offered chemistry tutoring. I have offered assistance with general biology, general chemistry, biochemistry, and microbiology to students throughout my college career. I have also spent the entirety of the past year teaching preschool children about nutrition and agriculture through a nationwide service organization.

Tutoring Approach:

As someone who grew up in the public school system, I understand that students often need individualized attention to help them succeed. I start out by taking the time to learn about a student's preferred learning methods and use that information to develop a study plan that works best for them.
