Information About Rachelle - Windsor tutor
This is how a referee rated Rachelle:
Hi, my name is Rachelle and I am a young professional looking to help students and/ or adults with English and French. I graduate from York University, Glendon College with a bachelor of arts honours, English major and History minor. I also graduated with a bilingual degree. I have been studying French for more than 18 years now. I love languages and love to teach literacy. I am currently doing my masters of education at Nipissing University and eventually I would love to become a teacher. I am very patient and always try to find new and fun ways to learn to keep everyone interested.
I volunteered for three years with a program called peace by PEACE. It was a University run organisation that taught grades three to six about social consequences and community. I did peer mentoring for first year history students for a year and have helped many students with reading and writing in French and English. I am currently student teaching with grade eights with school.
My aim is to help students better understand and have confidence to answer questions that could be on exams or test. I also want to help students feel confident in editing essays. I can also be useful giving tips on how to write a good research essay, how to research, write and proofread. I believe in order to have a good relationship with a tutee we have to have good communication with each other, mutual respect and patient. My goal is to make connections to help grow relationships in order to help the learning process.
