Personal Description:

I'm an economics tutor who is passionate about mathematics and its applications in the financial world, and I'm ready to share that passion with others. I discovered that I love teaching while helping my teammates with their math courses. I am a very patient instructor, helping students feel comfortable around me even if they don't grasp the material right away.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a BS in Business Economics in 2014. I also served as treasurer of a student organization and helped my college football teammates with their math courses, so I understand how to explain STEM concepts to other people. I also have informal tutoring experience working with my niece, who is currently in Grade 5.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm a visual learner myself, so I try to incorporate visual aids into every lesson to make it easier for students to visualize what is happening. I'll also incorporate a pupil's interests outside academia into my lessons wherever possible.
