Personal Description:

I can create study plans that use multiple approaches to math topics to keep students engaged and motivated. As a math tutor, I want my students to build the skills they will need throughout their educational career, including test prep, study, and independent learning. With a logical but fun approach, I can help students explore geometry, arithmetic, and more.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering. I have a lot of experience as a math tutor. I scored a 770 on the SAT Math, an 800 on the SAT Mathematics Level 2, and a 790 on the SAT Subject Test in Mathematics Level 1.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in taking a rigorous approach to tutoring while focusing on building vital skills, particularly using a logic-based approach. By getting to know their strengths and weaknesses, I can figure out a study plan. Students who have a structured plan and access to helpful resources can learn the material independently.
