Personal Description:

If you are looking for a Japanese tutor, I work can work with students who are studying the language in a classroom setting, as well as those trying to pick up a little for business or travel. For a lot of students, learning a new language can be a source of anxiety, so I try to draw on my background in psychology to help them get to a place where learning can flourish.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in psychology and a master's in Human Resources and Employee Relations. My psychology background comes in handy in my work as a Japanese tutor, as I am able to apply what I know about human behavior to how I approach each student.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student is different, so I always try to, first, gain an understanding what learning style my students are going to respond to and, second, tailor my approach to their preferences.
