Personal Description:

I am able to help students with a range of writing, reading, and English concepts in personalized, 1-on-1 sessions. I enjoy working as an English tutor because it is so different from my academic focus in computer science and math. Also, my background in those areas gives me insight into new, systematic ways to address writing and reading concerns. I am interested in problem solving and how to communicate difficult ideas effectively.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I began tutoring during my sophomore year, and I have two years of experience as a part of a university writing program. I was recommended for the program by one of my professors.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that looking at a problem from different angles can help people see new solutions. As an English tutor, I want to help students with their current work while helping them develop strategies that are applicable to future academic and professional scenarios as well.
