Personal Description:

I can work with students from first through ninth grade on math topics. I can also work with students in Special Education on math topics at their level. I specialize in finding the techniques that work best for each student so they can reach for their educational goals with me as their math tutor.

Tutoring Experience:

After high school, I earned my bachelor's degree in Recreation Education. I then earned my master's degree in Special Education. I spent 13 years as a Special Education classroom teacher. I have experience in working with students of various ages and abilities.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that any student can learn and that each student will learn best when tutored in the way that makes the most sense to them. I am patient and take the time to help my students succeed. I believe in keeping students motivated by challenging them but not making the challenge so difficult that they give up on it.
