Personal Description:

I am a chemistry tutor determined to help each and every student reach for their potential, and use the skills and mindsets built during our sessions throughout various aspects of life. I've worked with higher education students and those with learning disabilities. When working with a tutee, I am fully invested in their success.

Tutoring Experience:

I'm an undergraduate student focusing on economics, computer science, and psychology. I've tutored through a literacy program for dyslexic children. Tutoring at a student's pace, applying teaching methods that match their style of learning, is effective on many levels.

Tutoring Approach:

When I teach a student one-on-one, I work to identify strategies that help them most with learning. A personalized path to success, along with focusing on problem solving skills before breaking down a specific problem, is effective. I believe practice is invaluable in helping frame concepts so a student can connect with them and achieve long-term learning.
