Personal Description:

I have a strong background in not only Italian, but other romance languages as well, and I have been working with language students for almost thirty years. If you are looking for an Italian tutor, whether you are studying Italian in a classroom setting, or want to brush up on conversational Italian for business or travel purposes, I'm ready to help!

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Italian and Spanish, and a PhD in Italian Language and Literature. Additionally, I studied education in Italy. I have tutored and taught several languages, including Spanish, Italian, and Latin, and have experience working with ESL learners as well.

Tutoring Approach:

Learning a new language can be a source of anxiety for some students, so one thing I do is work on building a student's confidence. Once the student feels more comfortable with the material, we can begin learning, using whatever approaches make sense for the student's learning preferences.
