Personal Description:

Hi, I'm Leon! I'm currently a high school student at Bayview SS in the IB program. I plan on attending the University of Waterloo for Computer Science which I have received an early offer for.

I've finished my SL Math course and SL Physics course and I am currently taking HL Chemistry, HL English, HL Economics, and SL French. Apart from school, I also participate in both math and programming competitions regularly.

Tutoring Experience:

I've volunteered at my elementary school as an assistant and I also was a computer tutor at the Vaughan Resource Library. Currently I teach swimming to young children ages 2-10.

Tutoring Approach:

I like to first figure out what the tutee needs to learn and then I find a way to achieve that. If the student is lacking in pre-requisites or needs help in certain areas, I'll work on those areas first so that the tutee will be able to better understand the topic to learn. Once we achieve a goal, we can move on to newer concepts or work on what the student is learning or going to learn at school.
