Information About LeanneRegina tutor
This is how 2 referees rated Leanne:
Hi! I'm a biologist with 3 science degrees and almost 10 years of teaching experience at a university level. Born in central Saskatchewan, I grew up on a grain farm raising cows, horses, and chickens. I did my undergraduate degree at the University of Saskatchewan and my graduate degrees at the University of Regina.
I love teaching. I started in my undergrad and taught my way through graduate school, accumulating almost 10 years of experience. At the University of Regina I taught mostly introductory biology labs (i.e… Biol 100, 101, 140). By the end of my PhD I was running senior-level biology labs, working as a sessional lab instructor, and guest lecturing.
I'm a hands on teacher. Bring me what you want to learn or are having trouble with and we'll work our way through it. I've written several exams and marked countless others, so I can teach you how to study for them, read questions carefully, and get the most out of your answers. I've published several articles in peer-reviewed journals, so I can advise on how to write for science classes. I can also advise on how to prioritize and manage your time throughout your semester to reduce stress, especially if you're taking a hard class.
