Personal Description:

In addition to being a psychology tutor, I also tutor middle school, high school, and college students in a wide variety of courses in the fields of math and science. I'm also available to provide test prep tutoring for standardized exams such as the GED or academic coaching and general study skills.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in biology, and I am currently a Ph.D. candidate in molecular and translational medicine. My research is centered on the link between diet and the microbiome of the lungs. In addition to my academic background, I have several years of tutoring experience in the fields of math and science.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the biggest obstacle most students have to overcome when learning new material is in identifying the types of learning strategies that will work most effectively for them. I help in this process while also providing academic support for the specific course.
