Personal Description:

A good teacher looks for the joy in the learning process, at least in my opinion. The human brain is like a living computer, and learning is a way to organize various logic gates that alters the very substance of our minds. In that way, it's like the rush we get from playing games. There is real joy in that!

Tutoring Experience:

I am a professional student who is currently working toward a Master of Arts in Teaching. I scored in the 98th percentile on my MCAT, so students can trust that I know what I'm talking about. I have also done a lot of tutoring in pre-med and MCAT test prep primarily. Finally, I have taught yoga in 1-on-1 and group settings.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm constantly asking my students to explain concepts back to me. If a student can teach the material to somebody else, I can rest assured that I've done my job as a biology tutor.
