Personal Description:

As a tutor, I believe in making sure that I am in tune with each student's individualized needs. I do my best to ensure that my students are getting the most out of each session. I am an enthusiastic and patient teacher who loves helping others reach their academic goals.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with my bachelor's in music education. After that, I worked with a local nonprofit agency as a tutor. My next step is to attend graduate school to earn my master's in music education. In addition to my own courses and learning experiences, I have spent the last year helping students in math classes in private and group settings. I am available to tutor in math at all levels, from elementary math to college algebra.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring approach includes ensuring that my students learn to become independent learners. To do this, I help build their confidence and teach them how to break down difficult problems into easier, smaller steps. I build trusting relationships with my students to figure out what they do and don't like.
