Personal Description:

I am able to help elementary and middle school students with a variety of foundational math concepts. I love working as a math tutor because math is my passion. I enjoy the experience of watching students grow and learn. Math is practical throughout a person's life, and I work to show how valuable math can be even when a person is not in the classroom or an academic environment.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Curriculum and Instruction. I have worked as a classroom instructor for over 20 years. Also, I have over eight years of experience as a private tutor. I have taught students in both the United States and in Asia.

Tutoring Approach:

As a math tutor, I use a number of interactive methods, such as whiteboards, games, and other activities, to lead engaging sessions. I believe every student can learn math, and my goal is to help students believe in their own abilities.
