Personal Description:

I am currently a student in my third year at the University of Waterloo studying Geography and Environmental Management. In the future I look to get into teaching as a profession, and therefore I currently would be happy to share my knowledge relating to Geography, History, and Science with students who need help in these areas. I am happy to accommodate different learning styles and preferences in my approaches towards tutoring in any given subject.

Tutoring Experience:

I have previously worked with elementary school children, helping them learn how to read and build their literacy skills. I have additional experience tutoring students in high school to prepare for tests, as well as general homework help.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that everybody learns a little bit differently, so my approach to instruction will vary depending on the needs of the individual student. I do believe in the overarching notion that working through problems yourself will be the most helpful tool in one's learning, and so I hope to be a guide as you work through the aspects of school that are challenging.
