Hi! My name is Judy. I am currently taking a BSc. in Computer Science at York University. I am also a guitar teacher.
Tutoring Experience:
I have 4 years of experience tutoring High School and Middle School students in Math, Science and English as well as other subjects.
Tutoring Approach:
It is important to give my students the confidence to tackle a problem on their own by giving them a deep understanding of each step of the problem, from breaking down an assignment question to computing the solution. A tutoring session will usually begin with asking a student for a self assessment of their level and then working through the problems together, going back to cover any concepts that may be weak.
