Personal Description:

I have a passion not only for learning but also for helping others learn. As a biology tutor, I hope to educate the world! My favorite part of tutoring is trying to figure out why my student may be struggling with a given concept and determining the best course of action to correct it. I believe that all students are capable of learning with the right support.

Tutoring Experience:

I have been tutoring since 2008, both on my own and through national organizations. I graduated with dual degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Dance, and yes, I know that it's a strange combination!

Tutoring Approach:

I believe in helping students develop an instinctual understanding of basic equations, axioms, vocabulary, and concepts before moving on to more advanced material. Biology is a cumulative subject, and you have to understand the fundamentals first. This provides you with a solid foundation on which to build your biology knowledge.
