Certified Department Head/Math Teacher - 20 years classroom and tutoring experience - from Grade 4 to Calculus and Vectors. My 10+ years experience as a Math DH of an elearn school has made it a seamless transition to online tutoring through zoom, utilizing etextbooks, Desmos graphing calculator, Smart Notebook, and Google Classroom, to deliver online classes during these crazy covid times!! Small group (max of 4) online through zoom platform, including specialized quadmester classes, for $25 per hour! Private tutoring from $45 per hour

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 20 years of professional teaching experience, qualified with the Ontario College of Teachers with Mathematics as my Major teachable at both the Elementary and Secondary school level. Earned highest mark in Ontario for teaching Senior Mathematics at Teacher's College (final mark of 100%). Department Head of Mathematics for 10 years. Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is that all students are unique and many may be missing foundational skills. I will identify these and through use of technology and paper pencil methods will build confidence in my students while they build a stronger foundation. With this stronger foundation students then will have greater success at their current work. Technology is used to illustrate concepts to students and provide visuals wherever possible, and makes learning more meaningful and fun. All classes online $25 for small group sessions (max of 4 students). Private tutoring starting at $45 / hr.
