Personal Description:

In addition to tutoring students in a variety of social science courses such as sociology, I am also available for test prep tutoring for a variety of exams. I have a strong background in the social sciences through both my education and my life experience.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned my undergraduate degree in sociology, and I graduated with honors. I am a member of Alpha Kappa Delta, which is the international honors society for sociology majors and sociologists.

I began tutoring as an undergraduate student where I worked with students in a wide variety of subject areas.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm a kinesthetic and visual learner, and I find that I am most effective when tutoring students in these modalities. I'm also a strong proponent of experiential learning. It is my belief that when I'm able to give the students hands-on or real-world examples, it helps to solidify their understanding of the material we are covering together.
