Personal Description:

Hey! My name's Izzy. I'm a results-oriented engineer and decision scientist, living in the Downtown Toronto Area. I pride myself on helping others possess the tools necessary to learn anything you put your mind to! My soft and technical skills are as diverse as my ethnic background, and my interests range from the performing arts, to investments, to even horse riding and archery.

Tutoring Experience:

My teaching experience revolves mainly around tutoring my nieces and nephews on various subjects since their youth until 18 years of age.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach is broken down as follows:

1- I identify the current status of the student's learning looking into his/her past performance (i.e. quizzes).
2- I ask relevant questions regarding the specific topic and make a preliminary assessment of the student's knowledge.
3- From there, I tackle the primary problems which the student is facing by defining the topic of discussion and providing real-world examples.
4- Afterwards, I assess the student with small quizzes to build his/her confidence towards the testing process.
5- Turn to another topic and repeat steps 2 - 4.
6- After a few topics have been clarified, I construct a more comprehensive examination combining all the topics discussed.
