My teaching style focuses on student-centered learning. As a future academic teacher, I would like to provide a teaching style that is inspiring, collaborative, and interactive, rooted to nursing practice. I want to create a safe space for all students for them to foster their growth. Furthermore, for me, diversity is imperial while working with adult learners of all different backgrounds, ages, and life experiences. I hope that being transparent, available, and having an open-door policy for students can make them feel welcomed and open to asking questions and meeting their personal and professional goals while providing non-judgemental constructive feedback. I strive to create a safe place for students to feel safe to discuss issues, class content and events openly, and feel inclusive, heard, valued, and respected.
