Personal Description:

I can help with a range of middle school, high school, and college concepts. I love being a math tutor because I get to help students deepen their understanding of math. Whether a student is in the midst of a math-related degree or they are struggling in a high school math course, I can provide expert assistance. I can also guide students as they prepare for exams such as the AP Calculus AB and CLEP College Algebra tests.

Tutoring Experience:

I have a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Lavras Brazil and an International Master of Business degree. I have five years of experience teaching Numeric Calculus and Calculus 1, 2, and 3 at the university level. I have worked as a full-time tutor since 2012.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that a math tutor should help students to feel comfortable as they learn. I want to challenge students to do their best and advance their understanding and abilities, but I also want them to feel supported as they learn.
