Personal Description:

I enjoy getting to know my students as their economics tutor. I can help students build a solid grasp of the foundational economics topics before they enter their first course, which can help them feel more confident in the classroom. I believe students need to build confidence in an encouraging setting to build independent learning skills.

Tutoring Experience:

I am currently pursuing my associate's degree, after which I intend to go after a bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering. I currently tutor students in algebra and Spanish and participated in a program where I taught math concepts to pre-k through middle school students.

Tutoring Approach:

I understand how to build a strong relationship with students. There is no judgment for those who make mistakes, which makes it easier for students to recognize and reduce mistakes as they work through activities about competition and market structures or financial markets. I build a comfortable environment where students can ask questions whenever they have them.
