Personal Description:

People deserve the best opportunities education has to offer. Different people learn at their own pace and in their own way, which makes it important that they work with an English tutor who understands how to accommodate those differences. I am a results-oriented instructor who strives to help students remain focused as they work to build solid skills, whether they are preparing for the ACT English section or need guidance in a college-level literature course.

Tutoring Experience:

I am certified as an educator in English, Japanese, Spanish, and Political Science. I earned a master's degree in English and I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Spanish. I have experience instructing students of all ages in a variety of subjects, including English.

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that the best learning happens when a student's needs, personality, and learning tendencies are respected. I can employ a variety of strategies to help students gain a connection to the material, whether they are learning to analyze complex literary texts or need to improve their writing skills for college admissions essays.
