Personal Description:

Literature and language are twin passions for me, and I enjoy sharing that passion with my students. I am a tutor for English language and literature. Whether it's reading comprehension, writing for high school, writing college essays, essay editing, or comparative literature, I am here to help!

Tutoring Experience:

I received my bachelor's degree in English. I grew up speaking Spanish, and that fluency helps me work with students trying to learn the nuances of Spanish, and the experience of learning the rules and structures of written and spoken English similarly informs my work as an English tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

Every student is unique and is going to respond differently to different approaches, so I always try to find ways of working with the material that are most effective for the student. I also try to share my passion for the subject with them and, ideally, awaken in them a passion for learning of their own.
