Personal Description:

Hello!

My name is Callan, I was born and raised in West Vancouver where I attended Sentinel Secondary School in order to balance my academics with soccer and karate. I later attended Queen's University for Chemistry on an academic scholarship.
I maintained strong grades in Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Math.
I have just recently come back from the United Kingdom in which I studied academic Law. This was an accelerated program which allowed me to finish a three year degree in just one.

NB:
I have just arrived back from the U.K. and as such my phone is unavailable for the next few days. Please email me for any inquiries.
I tend to enjoy meeting at the **Removed By Admin**y but am flexible and am more than happy to work towards something that is more convenient.

Tutoring Experience:

I have an extensive background in teaching. I have taught karate, swimming, soccer and badminton; I have successfully taught karate students to a national level. I have also tutored music and founded an academic music society at Queen's University as well as have taught first aid to the Queen's university medical response team. I have taught Math, Biology, Chemistry and Physics at a university level but am only taking in high school students at this time and first year university students. I am more than happy to redirect you to well-qualified upper-level university tutors if needed.

Tutoring Approach:

I have an extreme passion for not just tutoring students but mentoring and inspiring them. Having worked as a university residence advisor and a life coach, I find that at many times academics are hindered due to a deeper cause. I pride in being able to work to not only raise ones academics but to put them in a place where they can confidently succeed on their own. I am also more than happy to help one reach their full potential (if they wish to take courses ahead of school schedule).

My broad experience in tutoring has taught me the importance of patience as well as flexibility. I have learned how to quickly find a teaching style that suits the students needs. I am confident that you will be happy with my services.

I am looking forward to working with you.
