Personal Description:
I am an Ontario certified teacher (OCT) offering math tutoring to Grades 4-12. I am very passionate in teaching math and I have conducted research in math education, and attended many professional learning conferences. Depending on your needs, I can also tutor other subjects, but I specialize in math education.
Academic qualifications:
Master of Teaching (UofT)
BSc in Mathematics (1st Class Honours) (HKUST)
Tutoring Experience:
I have started tutoring/teaching since I entered university 8 years ago. I have taught students from ages 9 - 16. In the past two years, I am teaching at a public school.
Tutoring Approach:
I use lots of real-life examples, and encourage lots of practice until you master the concepts. I will teach you strategies to help you do better in tests and exams.
