This is how a referee rated Brandon:
My name is Brandon and I live in a small town east of Toronto with my beagle-husky mix (beaski) Mia. I am an active rugby player and coach, educational blogger, and, of course, I enjoy teaching others new concepts and skills!
I have three years of tutoring experience and five years of teaching experience. I am a certified Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) teacher and currently work at an independent school in Ontario. I have also taught online with the eLearning Consortium of Canada (ELCC) for two years and have been a member of the educational professional development community Cohort 21 since 2019.
I believe that education is an ongoing journey. As such, teachers, just like students, should continue to grow and learn. For this reason, I have engaged in multiple professional development opportunities in each year of my teaching career and look to bring these newly learned experiences to my teaching. In short, I look to work with the individual needs of my learner in order to support them in achieving individual success in their classes.
