Personal Description:

I love working with students and being the person to help them understand a subject that they once struggled to understand. I often find that they are simply missing one key piece of information that I can provide to them. I am a skilled physics tutor with the academic and educational experience to help students with physics homework or test prep at any level.

Tutoring Experience:

I earned a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering and took many different physics and calculus courses. I have been working as a private tutor for over two years. Before that, I tutored friends in various subjects, and tutored for the honors program in high school.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach my students how to use their existing knowledge to approach new problems. I believe that understanding what is going on in an equation is much more important than the equation itself. They must understand why they are learning the material, not just how.
