Personal Description:

My experience as a tutor has been challenging and rewarding. I am an English tutor who has a plethora of experience helping with everything from essay editing and grammar to college English. I can help students of all ages, from elementary through college, but I have the most experience working with elementary and middle school students.

Tutoring Experience:

I graduated with a bachelor's degree in film studies. After that, I earned a master's degree in screenwriting. I have been tutoring for more than fifteen years. Most recently, I have been tutoring students from third through eighth grade.

Tutoring Approach:

I find out what my student knows about the material at hand before beginning to tackle their problems. I believe in helping students learn how to get to an answer instead of just giving them the answer. I ask them what steps they would take to resolve the problem, evaluate their answers, and help them move forward.
