Personal Description:

I teach graduate/undergraduate level courses in mechanical engineering (with focus on thermo-fluid courses) and undergraduate courses in mathematics (with focus on applied mathematics courses).

Some background: I have a PhD and an MSc in mechanical engineering and an MSc in applied mathematics, and work as a professional engineer. Teaching is one of my passions and would like to be involved as long as I can. I have taught calculus courses at UBC (and to many students in one-on-one tutoring sessions in the past 20 years), and have taught Fluid Mechanics/Aerodynamics Courses at UBC as an instructor for 8 years (and to many students in one-on-one sessions in the past 15 years).

Tutoring Experience:

I have taught calculus courses at UBC (and to many students in one-on-one tutoring sessions in the past 20 years), and have taught Fluid Mechanics/Aerodynamics Courses at UBC as an instructor for 8 years (and to many students in one-on-one sessions in the past 15 years).

Tutoring Approach:

The most important part for each subject would be the concept, if a student understands the concept, she/he can solve any related problem. I bet you will be surprised in a way to look at to the math problems after having few sessions together.
