Personal Description:

I enjoy working with kids and helping them work through problems to learn to get through them on their own. I do so by teaching them to solve problems by concept, not individually. I am a chemistry tutor who can help with all subject levels, from chemistry basics to organic and honors chemistry.

Tutoring Experience:

I scored 1560 out of 1600 on the SAT Composite. As an undergraduate, I earned my bachelor's degree in chemistry. During my undergraduate career, I took many courses that helped me become an effective and efficient chemistry tutor. From homework help to test prep, I can help you tackle the problems you are facing.

Tutoring Approach:

My tutoring philosophy is to take a problem down to where the student understands it. Then, I help them fill in the gaps along the way to the answer. In our first session, I will get to know my students and where they are struggling so I can create customized lessons.
