Personal Description:

I am a second-year Engineering student at the University of Waterloo. I am proficient in mathematical subjects such as Advanced Functions as well as Calculus. I graduated with honour roll in high school who achieved great success with Physics and Mathematics. I am a very nurturing person who wants the best for anyone I am helping. I strive to allow your child to succeed with their education as I know that it is fundamental to build a great future.

Tutoring Experience:

Experience tutoring elementary students for 2 years in math and science.

Tutoring Approach:

I want to allow your child to think rather than me telling them how to solve each question. I will be there for support but I always want to ensure that they are retaining the information rather than just watching me solve the problem for them. I usually go through some examples that I lead, showing strategies on how to solve various types of problems. I will also allow them to do practice problems on their own where I monitor how they approach each question and see if they need help. I am very open and understanding that not everyone can learn the same way and I am able to easily adapt, depending on the person's needs.
