Personal Description:

I am an actor and theatre creator living in Toronto. I have my diplomas in Theatre Performance from Humber College and I spent 3 years living in Paris, France studying theatre at Ecole Philippe Gaulier. I have a French citizenship and travel to France every year to visit family and friends. I love the French language and I really understand the value of learning more than one language. Language allows the mind to expand in special ways that make people more sensitive, confident and it opens doors to great career opportunities.

Tutoring Experience:

While living in Paris I worked for Babylangues. I taught English to French children from 6 months to 11 years of age. I also teach acting classes in Toronto to young adults at Humber College.

Tutoring Approach:

My approach to tutoring is linked to my acting training. A student’s pleasure is key to learning in a deep manner that will last forever. I encourage my students to sing, move and role play when learning a language because it gets them out of their heads and into their bodies. Much of the work I do is focused on creativity. Depending on the student’s age and level there is also a writing component. Along with my students and their parents, we figure out what their goals are and, together we find fun ways of learning to converse and write in French.

I am also available for casual conversation tutorials with adults.
