Personal Description:

As an Ontario Certified math and English Teacher and a TESL Ontario Certified Adult Teacher, I have dedicated my life to the academic success and well-being of students since high school. Throughout high school I was an honor student in the Scarborough area while volunteering with non-profit organizations working with youth for over 8 years. Please note that I am happy to discuss rates based on socioeconomic status.

Tutoring Experience:

I have over 8 years of tutoring experience working with students in all grades, ages, and varying educational needs with a high success rate. I tutored in the Scarborough, Markham, and Richmond Hill area, while volunteering in the Scarborough and Downsview area with youth. I successfully completed 8 placements throughout my academic career in schools and community-based organizations while participating in professional development conferences. I have also provided workshops on teaching math to teacher candidates.

Tutoring Approach:

I provide asset-based tutoring that allows students to focus on their strengths, while providing multiple modes of instruction. Tutoring sessions are based on students' personal needs that are determined through conversation and review of their academic history. I provide additional complimentary online tutoring services outside of paid hours as questions and concerns arise between sessions.
