Personal Description:

Hi! My name is Deeksha and I am a second year undergraduate student at the University of Toronto double majoring in Physiology and Neuroscience with a minor in Immunology. I thoroughly enjoy the Life Sciences and aspire to be conducting research in the Neuroscience field in the future. I would love to help some of you guys out with your academics, especially during the current unprecedented pandemic!

Tutoring Experience:

I was a tutor for IB Level Chemistry and Biology in my high school and continue to be a peer-mentor for students in my university for Neuroscience and Physiology. I have also had the chance to tutor English in India and enjoy working with people who are excited to learn.

Tutoring Approach:

I will be approaching my lessons as per what works best for you and I think will be the most effective way to learn according to your personality and our dynamic. I also think having a short summary quiz right at the end of each lesson will help re-enforce the topics learnt during the lesson and will be a good indication of your progress but this is subject to change.

We can discuss the approach during the first couple of lessons to develop something that works best for us but since I am focusing on Science, I think practice questions are the best way to master anything in this field.
