Personal Description:

I am a 17-year-old high school student completing my final year in Bayview Secondary School's International Baccalaureate program. I have a passion for learning that extends beyond just the classroom; despite achieving a 95+ average in my 4 years of high school and receiving an early acceptance to Johns Hopkins University, I have also maintained strong extracurricular involvement throughout. I have attended the international conference and won the national competition for HOSA, competed at a national level in two sports - swimming and volleyball - and achieved the highest mark nationally for my level 8 piano exam. Recently, I have conducted research at McMaster University developing a cure for sepsis and have become the director for the youth council Prime Leaders Youth Collaborative. I am excited to share this love for learning and my extensive high school experience with my students!

Tutoring Approach:

I believe that learning stems from fun; the student will be much more inclined to learn when they are enjoying their time with their tutor. I plan to teach and tutor the material necessary but also foster a healthy, supportive environment at the same time!
