Personal Description:

I am a Filipino-born Australian citizen with a decade of residency in Australia. My deep-seated passion for teaching has been a driving force throughout my journey. Having embraced the Australian education landscape, I find immense joy in working with the Australian curriculum, particularly in the early and foundation years. These years, in my view, form the bedrock for a student's future academic success. My commitment to fostering a positive learning environment stems from both my cultural background and a genuine appreciation for the rich educational opportunities that Australia offers.

Tuition Experience:

Coming from the Philippines, I started my teaching career in 2005 after finishing my teaching degree. For the first nine years, I taught in primary schools in the Philippines until I moved to Australia in 2014. From 2014 to 2019, I worked as an Early Childhood Teacher in a prestigious childcare center, focusing on the foundation years program. During that time, I also worked part-time as a disability support worker for three years.

Since 2020, I've been working as a Public School Teacher in New South Wales, specialising in teaching Stage 1 students. I strongly believe in the importance of the early years as they lay the groundwork for success in later education. I bring a diverse range of experiences and a genuine passion for creating positive learning environments.

Tutoring Approach:

I prefer one-on-one online tutoring or sessions with a maximum of two students.
