I have more than 9 years teaching experience as a Lecturer in Geography at the University of Papua New Guinea (June 2002 - June 2012) mostly in both Physical and Human Geography. When I was doing my Honours Degree in Geography, I had two years of tutoring experience in the course Introduction to Geography mostly to undergraduate students.
I also have 4 months (June - October 2012) tutoring experience at James Cook University, Australia. I tutored the course; Introduction to Geographical Information Systems and Remote Sensing, mostly to undergraduate students from many nationalities at JCU.
Student(s) to ask specific area(s) in my subject that they are not too familiar with, then I explain orally with visual aids, then prepare notes and exercises for the student(s) to read and work on. This is then submitted back for my feedback. I speak the simplest English that water down technical terms for my students.
