I run lessons specifically for the Argument Analysis component of VCE English 3/4 that breaks down vocabulary, structure, and walks you through writing a perfect essay every time.
Language Analysis is arguably the most difficult and daunting component of VCE English. On the exam it's the essay you are least prepared for, and the huge mess of resources students get online and from their teachers/tutors create a stressful and confusing environment that makes it hard to pinpoint the gold in the rubbish pile.
You don't have to be good at English to do well in VCE English. VCE rewards preparation, rather than genius. End of year exam in year 11, I scored a 6/10 in Language Analysis. Yet after preparing a very specific and methodical structure for LA and memorising the right vocabulary, I ended year 12 with a 48 in English and a 99.90 ATAR.
