This is how 4 referees rated Matt:
I'm Matt, a 32 year old teacher who has been teaching for 10 years. I have been tutoring for around 8 of those, and have had a number of successful students come through and do well with my tuition. Due to working at a top private school in Melbourne, I can guarantee excellent results through getting to know your child's needs, strengths and areas to improve on and work with them to help combat any misconceptions.
I'm approachable, easy to get along with and have many positive feedback off previous tutees so let me know if you want to see their feedback!
Throughout my 10 years, I have taught the spectrum of Maths both in the UK and Australia equivalence - IB, GCSE, VCE, MYP, A Level, and currently teaching at a top private school locally in Melbourne. I normally tutor students who are in the in the latter years studying VCE and this can be General, Methods of Specialist.
In terms of my career, I have 10 years of classroom teaching, of which I have been Head of Faculty for 2 years and 18 months as Assistant Headteacher in charge of more able students - hence showing that I have the skills needed to accurately assess your child and get the best out of them.
One on one getting to know your child, assessing their needs and providing help with subjects that they struggle with. Mixing this in with a few exam style questions and deep-thinking, we can get make progress and move forward with confidence.
