Personal Description:

Hello,
My name is Kane and I am currently studying to be a high school teacher, specialising in History and German. I’ve been to Germany for a cumulative period of 12 months, which has given me a deep love and understanding of the Language. I also studied German in high school, meaning I'm familiar with the curriculum.

Tuition Experience:

I've not had any teaching experience, since this is my first-time tutoring. However, I am studying teaching at the University of Adelaide, which has given me helpful skills to assist in teaching.

Additionally, I work as a Student Support Officer (SSO) in a South Australian High School.

Tutoring Approach:

I'm flexible with the way I can tutor depending on what the student wishes to improve. I believe that the best way to learn a language is to be immersed in the language, therefore I will say everything in German, then repeat in English if it is needed. I will encourage as much spoken language as possible. I can help provide explanations of grammar concepts and I’m also happy to make resources/ activities for the students for whatever the student wishes to improve on and make it as personalised as possible.
