Personal Description:

As a first-year Monash University student undertaking Bachelor of Science - Global Challenges (Honours), I’m a tutor with as much of a love for teaching and communicating as I have for learning. Having achieved an ATAR of 98.00 from John Monash Science School with study scores of 43 in Mathematical Methods and 44 in Physics, I’m always willing to share my knowledge in these two fields at all high school levels (years 7 - 12).

Tuition Experience:

I have taught several year 10 students for mathematics in 2023, as well as mentoring students at my school for Physics 1&2 and Mathematical Methods 1&2. Currently, I am tutoring Physics 3&4 students as well as guiding some students with their Media 3&4 SATs.

Tutoring Approach:

I teach by using thorough and comprehensible explanations – through analogies and examples – to firstly ensure a solid conceptual understanding of the topic being covered. Working with my students at every step, I then work to encourage them to complete regular practice – with timely monitoring of progress – and cover each question type relevant to the subject, as well as appropriate exam technique.

Any student with conceptual misunderstandings and/or a lack of motivation to persevere can be guaranteed that I will relate to them and value two key principles over anything else:
• Sympathetic motivation to continue pushing ahead in studies
• Clear and eloquent explanations to leave no understanding gaps
