Personal Description:
After 14 years teaching and three in counselling, I am looking to get back into study and am looking for part-time/casual opportunities to earn money at the same time. Will be teaching casually, but I enjoy tutoring, having both taught and tutored students who have been placed in the top 10 of their subject for the HSC. Essay-writing is one of my areas of speciality. Rates are negotiable.
Tuition Experience:
14 years high school/HSC teacher at leading schools in NSW. Excellent HSC results.
Tutoring Approach:
Depending on the student's needs, I tailor my approach to what they want and how they learn best. I find the use of scaffolds helpful for lots of students, but am flexible because some students prefer other approaches.
