Personal Description:

I am a 27-year-old male Maths tutor who is passionate about learning and helping others. I especially love knowing that I have empowered my students and opened their eyes to the world of growth and possibility that is available to them. I love to read books in order to learn as much as I can about a vast range of subjects, and I try to benefit my students wherever possible with what I know.

Tuition Experience:

I am a qualified Mathematics teacher with 4 years of experience teaching at high schools, and 8 years of experience as a private Mathematics tutor.

Tutoring Approach:

I prioritise relating new content to something the student is already familar with, this has been shown to improve retention. I try as much as I can to relate it to the students real life experiences, as well as relating it to what they already know from Mathematics or other subjects. My first priority is always to ensure that the student is getting the maximum benefit out of their time in the classroom at school, this allows me to focus on extending that learning and unlocking my students full potential in Mathematics.
