Personal Description:

I am a native HongKonger who moved to Brisbane 6 years ago for my studies. Cantonese is my mother tongue but I also speak fluent Mandarin and English. Languages are one of my strongest skills as I have always been able to pick up foreign languages quickly. I'm very friendly, easy-going and love to teach, especially when it comes to sharing my language and culture.

Tuition Experience:

I have 3 years of experience tutoring Mandarin and English here in Brisbane. I provided beginner to intermediate Mandarin classes to Year 12 and university students studying Mandarin, and working professionals hoping to learn the language for work.

Tutoring Approach:

When I teach, I always go at a pace that is suitable for my students. I make sure that they understand my teaching and review particular skills every class according to how well they're absorbing the content. Languages can be learnt in many different ways and I like to keep it fun and interesting in my teachings and provide plenty of conversational and writing practices so they can really utilise their vocabulary, grammatical skills and so on.
