Personal Description:
My name is Lauri . I have been working as a teacher for the past 7 years at a private school in Melbourne. I speciallised in History at university including completing my Honours in 2010. I have worked with many students with a range of abilities including special needs. I began my teaching career in the Special Ed department whereby I ran one on one sessions with students completing course work in a dynamic, inclusive environment. I have taught year levels 7 through 11 and love working with students.
Tuition Experience:
Tutoring, 2008-2018- Primary and secondary age students
Teaching, 2012-2019- History, Geography, Civics and Citizenship, Economics and Religious Studies, Leibler Yavneh College, years 7-11.
Tutoring Approach:
I personally tailor my sessions with students to their individual needs and ability. I highlight their strengths and determine their weaknesses through a fostered approach to their interests and learning language. I provide a personal approach which, in turn, will provide a solid foundation to their educational journey.
