Information About Nicole
Personal Description: I am a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and hold a Bachelor of Arts in psychology. I have tutored children of all ages - including special needs children - and adults in English/ESL; reading; writing; psychology; philosophy; history; and study skills/test prep since 2006. It is the most rewarding work I have ever endeavored. My ultimate career goal is to counsel at-risk youth, and I have a definite aptitude for working with children. I am patient; honest; hard-working; compassionate; dedicated; and dependable. I always seek to highlight my students' true potential and help them continue to build on skills they already possess. I absolutely love my work and exude professionalism at all times.
Tutoring Experience: I have tutored English/language arts; ESL; reading; writing; philosophy; history; study skills; and psychology. I am also adept with special needs (AD(H)D; Aspergers; general learning disability). I began as a volunteer tutor at my university's writing lab per the recommendation of a former professor. From there, my love for teaching blossomed; I have since started my own tutoring (private) business and am enjoying the fruits of my success!
