Personal Description: A professional & passionate Lecturer/ Trainer with proven experience in successfully designing, developing and delivering a variety of teaching and training programmes, including; Employability & Bridging courses as well as English for Specific Purposes (ESP) and accredited teaching programmes.
With demonstrated industry, teaching and training experience in a vast array of areas that incorporate ESOL, Basic Skills, Citizenship, Business and Management gained effectively through working with leading organisations specialising in their trades.
Possess a range of relevant; industry recognised qualifications including a BA (Hons) in Business Management, Cert TESOL, PGCE and an A1 Assessor award.
Tutoring Experience: Over 5 years Teaching/ Training experience in a variety of disciplines; specialising mainly in Business, ESOL (English for Speakers of Other Languages), EFL (English for Foreign Learners), Citizenship and Employment. Have taught at High Schools, Colleges, abroad and provided commercial training.
Possess experience as an Educational Support Worker to learners with learning difficulties and disabilities as well as, providing pastoral support, care and guidance.
Tutoring Approach: Uses individual learning plans, sets SMART targets and uses a variety of teaching methods that appeal to different learning styles. Likes to ensure learners feels at ease and enjoy learning. Can tutor on an individual basis or as a small group.
